A total looker for a kit over 30 - having only seen studios and theatres, this Gretsch USA Player 9 is in fabulous cosmetic condition for a piece of it's vintage. Six-ply birch shells with staggered, butt-joined laminations - trimmed, machined, and white wood sanded over a rigourous ten days.
Finished with a Rosewood stain, seal, and seal-sanding repeatedly prior to six coats of lacquer and an equally extensive hand-rubbing, and waxing. The inside of the drums were sealed with a secret formula silver sealant, and hand tuned before leaving the factory. Die-cast hoops, and some groovy old Remo heads round out this fabulous piece that's screaming to get back into the studio or onto the stage.
